Loving A Friend ( A Daniel Radcliffe Love Story) Part 9

RECAP: Daniel started looking around your room. "This the first time I've ever been in your room." Remember?

"Um yea.First and last!" You squealed, "Close your eyes right now!" you said worried he might find something with his name written in a heart on it.

"Why?" he sighed closing them. "I mean it just a room." he muttered taking a few blind steps forward.

"Because I said so." you grimaced at the pain in your leg. The pain in your leg was all that kept you from kicking him out with force.

"Oh so that's why, huh?" he chuckled, opening his eyes dilberately as ran to your bed and crashed down beside you.He started to tickle you, pretty violently.

"No!...Hahaha...Dan stop!haha.....No....Please!!" you screamed laughing uncontrollably, forgetting what time it was..(around 8 a.m.)

Just then the door flew open!Your grimacing mother stood at the doorway.

"What's all this noi- oh Daniel...? What are you doing here?" she asked, clearly surprised by his appearance. She self-conciously pulled her night robe closer to her body.

"Oh....well, I-I was just helping D-Deena here, up to her room. She h-hurt her leg out-outside while stretching.I-I saw her fall to the floor...... so I helped her." he stammered somewhat nervously. Considering the position your mother found you both in you couldn't blame him.

You were on your back your bed and Dan was on top of you with his legs straddling you. As you were analyzing the position you were Dan also realized this,and quickly got up.

"Well I've got...... something to do.I'll just be leaving now." he said,"Bye." he whispered to you eyes wide and apologetic. And with that, he left. You heard his footsteps quickly descending the stairs.

Your mom stared at you suspiciously and scrutinizing as you made an attempt to sit up. "I trust you honey." she said calmly. As if there was a reason for her to suspect as such anyway.

"Mom. You should .Nothing was going on, I got hurt, he was there, and I needed help so he brought me upstairs. I even tried to kick him out. In my defense, I'm simply a victim to being ticklish, which I must blame on your donation of genetics." you told her shrugging it off.

"Alright" she crossed her arms pulling her sleeping robe closer to her body once more and closed the door behind her as she left.

You sighed as you layed back down.You turned your head so that you could look out your window, that wasn't to far from your bed.Just barely, you were able to make out the figures of Jasmyne and Dan together in Dan's room, which was right across your window so you had a perfect view.

*When the heck did she get there?* You inhaled sharply and looked away. You wished so badly that you were the one in Dan's room right now.You drifted off to sleep with the thought.

You soon woke up to the knocking on your door.

"Who is it?" you called sleepily.

"Me." the person called back.

"Me, who?" you asked as you fumbled to sit up and looking atat the time. It was 38 mninutes past two in the afternoon(2:38 pm).

"Me,Jackie." she said opening the door with a grin, " How could you have forgotten my lovely voice." she said with a hint of sarcasm.

You laughed."Hey Jackie."

This is Jackie:

"What are you doing here?" you asked puzzled.

"I need an excuse to come to my best friend's house now?Gosh." she said collapsing on your bed next to you.

"So, I'm sorry for ditching you yesterday." she said lying on her back.

"No biggie.I actually had fun without you." you smiled remembering the fun you had with Dan.

"How so?" she asked.

"Well me and Dan.."you were cut off by Jackie sitting upright suddenly.

"Wait a sec, I thought you said that he was in Australia?" she shrieked happily," He came to see you?"

*And here come's the gossip....*

"Well, he said that the director gave him half a month's break....and yes he came over yesterday but nothing happ-" "2 weeks?" "Well, yea-" " So then you only have one month to get him!"

"Wait one second. You don't get it. He already has a girlfriend." you said.

"Yes I do get it! I just don't understand why his girlfriend isn't you." she frowned,"But we can fix that."

"What do you mean?" you asked quizzically as you recognized the evil grin that grew on her features.

"Maybe you can sort of....mess up their relationship.Like sabatoge or something." She smiled. You sighed loudly sitting up and sliding off your bed.

"Not you too!" You noticed that your leg felt much better.

"What do you mean me too?" she asked a bit confused getting off the bed also.

"Alessandra told me to 'SABOTAGE their relationship too." You explained, "But I can't do that. It's wrong. If Dan likes me like I do, I won't need to do any of this. But if he doesn't feel the same way then-"

"He does feel the same way. He just needs little nudge on the back," she shrugged and added quietly "and he needs to get that other girl out the way." Jackie faced you dead on and enthusiastically. "After that the two of you are set !"

"It's not that simple." you shook your head at her heavy enthusiasm.

"Yes it is! You just make everything too complicated!" she responded quickly.

"Okay. Fine. Then how do you supose that you break him and his girl up?" you asked knowing well that she probably didn't even have a plan at all!

"You mean 'how are we going to break them up'?" she corrected barely missing a beat.

You rolled your eyes."Yea.Whatever." "Well..." she began
