"What was that all about?" Dan asked after he finally managed to stop laughing so hysterically.

"Nothing." you shrugged. You didn't understand why you had felt the need to get it across to Dan that you hadn't really had an active dating life. It's not like it was any of his business and he didn't even ask. "Um, Can we go home please? My mom's expecting me." You lied.

"Sure, sure." he replied as he made his way to the passenger's side and opened the door for you sweetly.

After you were seated he shut your door and made his way to the passenger side. It was a pretty quiet ride back home. It was still a little too awkward to speak to him. He seemed to notice and filled the silence of the car with the sound of the radio, which he gave you free will to play around with.

Dan dropped you off in front of your house and went back to his to park the car.

" Hey Deena, I have to do some stuff right now so I gues I'll see you tomorrow kay?" he smiled as you stepped out of the car.

"Kay. Thanks by the way. Today was fun." You smiled back.

You walked into your warm and empty house and made your way upstairs, where you busted through your door and collapsed onto your wide bed.

You were there earlier then your mom had expected so she wasn't even there yet. You decided to watch some TV and call Ale to 'thank' her!

ALe:Hello?

You:Ale, I just wanted to say that..... you are messed up on so many different levels!

Ale: Really? *laughs nervously*

You:*silence*

Ale: It's not a big deal. C'mon.

You: I know. You're right. But to me it kinda w-.... it was a bit embarassing. It was awkward after you left.Ya know?

Ale: To be honest, I don't. But let's get off that topic. I apologize for not believing that you knew him.

You: Apology accepted!

Ale: So Deena....I know you like him .....and I'm sure he likes you too so wh-

You: Because 1) We are just friends and 2) He...he's sort of taken already.

Ale: Oh? And you're okay with that?

You: Of course not, but hey, what can I do?

Ale:Hun...you can do a lot. 'Sabatoge" is a miraculous word.

You:*laughs* Your an evil child! No way. I can't do that. Don't you watch movies? Whenever the girl does that she just ends pushing the original couple closer together.

Ale: Stop watching "My Best Friend's Wedding" okay? But fine. Suit yourself.

You:I will thank you.

Ale:Hey,my brother just broke something downstairs. I have to go.

You: You are the worst babysitter ever. *laughs*

Ale: oh, so true.Bye.Call you later.

You:Okay...bye.

You sat on the hot pink lip shaped love seat that was backed against window frame of your room the thinking about what Alessandra said, while flipping through the channels absentmindedly. There wasn't anything on television that interested you though so you turned off after a while of flipping. You looked outside and noticed snowflakes falling outside.

Pulling your sweater tighter to your body and crossing your arms, you smiled. You loved the snow. In Florida it never snowed, but you had always wished to see it. The first winter you spent here in England, after moving, it snowed. That's when you met Dan. You were friends at once, and even though you never mentioned it, you had grown to see him as more. The snow gave you that gift, so it's only natural that you loved the snow so much.



You decided to change into some warm clothes and head outside. You ran back downstairs and out to your back yard. Tilting your head upwards, with your arms wide open, you allowed the snow to come down onto you. You loved the feeling. As you brought your head down you looked over to Dan's backyard. Even though it was pretty far away, somehow you still saw .......
Saw....what?
