Loving A Friend (A Daniel Radcliffe Love Story) Part 5

RECAP: "You can go to stadium 4." he said handing Dan the guns. (By the way the stadiums are like big rooms that are decorated for the activity,nobody is watching or anything)

You guys walked into the double under the sign that read Stadium 4.

There were two sets of overalls and equipment laying on a chair.

The two of you put them on over your clothes.

(me:your not gonna get naked!!yet*wink*wink*lol.And it was cold so it wasn't a problem)

"Ok.Are you ready?"You asked as you put your goggles on watching him get into his overalls…..He looked so cute in them!

"Yes." he responded zipping up his overalls and putting his goggles on.

You took one of the heavy guns that he had next to him and you put it over your shoulder. He did the same.

You both walked over to wear the begin button was on a dashboard in the middle of the small field.You pressed it and the bell rung.

Soon cardboard cut out people began to appear with targets on them. Their target’s bullseyes were hurling tons of paintballs at you and Dan at a surprising speed.

“What out!” Dan shouted lunging himself in front of you and shooting at the fake person that you hadn’t even noticed right behind you.

“Ahh, Thanks” You breathed in shock.

“Not a problem, just let me take care of it.” He smirked smugly.

You cocked your eyebrow at his response.But you weren’t about to sit around like a duck. You took defensive action dodging the balls of paint that were flying at you from multiple directions and shooting towards the figures of cardboard. Once the paintball got close enough to the target’s bullseye it fall over….You began walking forward to get better aim. (It was sort of like that scene in Mr. and Mrs. Smith when they got dressed in the suits)

After a few minutes of shooting and dodging the 2nd bell rung for the next level. You saw Dan was looking frantically and seriously around everywhere trying to locate the cardboard people.You smiled mischieviously and took the chance to shoot a paintball at his foot.

"Hey!!That hurt!" He exclaimed surprised.

"Opps! I thought you were the enemy."you lied in a convincing tone.

He looked your way seriously,and raised his gun a bit as he knelt down.

"Oh snap! Please don't! I'm sorry!" You squeled. You heard the fire of the paint gun and shut your eyes reflexively.
*Huh?I didn't feel anything. Ha...he missed*

You peaked eye open cautiously. Just in time to see him turn away and begin shooting at the cardboard manicans.You glanced behind you and found what he had targeted. There was a manican laying on the floor. He sort of just saved you.

After continuing for about 25 more minutes you ran out of paint bullets.

You guys left the Paint and Rock Palace and headed to your favorite fast food reseraunt.

(By the way,we are gonna pretend that Daniel knows how to drive and you have a permit)

You both decided to eat inside instead of drive-thru.Since it was just lunch you didn't think there would be much people,and there wasn't.You both stood in the short line, laughing about the events of the paintball extravaganza.

“Sorry about your foot by the way. You were just getting too cocky and somebody had to put you in your place.” You shrugged.

He grinned, “Yes , of course. That’s why I keep you around.”

You nodded playfully shrugging once more with a faux modest fascade.

Soon it was your turn to place orders. As Dan was ordering you noticed a sign that read Now Hiring. You really would be needing a job for the break. But on the offhand, you really wanted to spend more time with Dan, even though you knew he would probably much rather spend his break time more with Jazmyne.

You were snapped back from your train of that as Dan's hand waved in front of your face, breaking you from thought."Deena?...anyone in there?"

"Huh? Wha...what happened?" you said stuttered.

Daniel cracked a smile."What do you want?"

"Oh!I'll take the _________(you can fill in the blanks as long as you have no meat and french fries!!)." you said without even having to look at the menu since you knew it already by heart.

"Okay that'll be $8.98."the guy said.

Before Dan had a chance to pull his wallet out you already had a 10 dollar bill out.

"I got it." you smiled mocking his tone of voice from earlier that day.

He smiled a little and put his wallet back in a safe position.The guy gave you your change,which you put in the donation box,and handed you two trays of food.

You each picked up your repective meals and went to sit down in one of those tables that seat two. You sat across him so that you were in perfect view of him.

Just as you sat down you heard a cell phone ringtone that sounded just like yours.So you reached into your back pocket and noticed Dan doing the same.

"Hello?" you said simultaniously but you realized that the phone was still ringing.You looked behind you and saw a girl that looked somewhat familiar pick up her phone. You turned back to Dan and saw that he too was looking at her. You suddenly both burst out laughing.

"That was funny." You said putting a fry in your mouth.

You guys ate in peace, occasionally throwing fries at each other or across the room.

Dan unexpectedly got risky and decided to hurl an opened ketchup pack in your direction. You squealed as you ducked out of the way; It ended up flinging to the seat behind you.The girl who was behind you looked up at the two of you and you immediately recognized her as................
..........
